Taxes are payable by mail, by depositing in mail slot next to south entrance of Town Hall (NOTE: Do Not Deposit Cash or Change in the mail slot) or by credit card through the Grant Township Website. For additional hours and Questions please Call 231-557-1349.
Taxes are to be paid only to the Treasurer or her Deputy during the office hours listed, by mail, at drop box on the south side of the entrance or online. During office hours you may call 231-893-0432 with questions. After hours call: 231-557-1349
Office will be open from: 10am to 12 noon on Wednesday July 1, 2026 to September 9, 2026.
Open 9 am to 5 pm ONLY September 14,2026.
September 15, 2026 through November 30,2026 are only by appointment and must include the interest. Call me for the correct amount
Do not leave cash in the drop box and PLEASE include a phone number where you can be reached in case there is a problem with the payment.
If checks do not clear, receipts are void. Postmarks are not accepted as payment date. Send stamped, self addressed envelope for receipts.
5pm on March 1, 2027 is the last day I can accept payments. After the 2nd week of March call the County Treas. office @ 231-873-3980, for information on paying delinquent taxes to them.
